There is always a diagnosis Service fee of $150 for "up to the first 30 minutes" of diagnosis / service charge. All time will be accounted for and billed which was spent performing your repair (s)

The diagnosis can take as little as 5 minutes or more .The first UP TO 30 minutes is $150. So the first full hour would be $225 for any new service. All time onsite is billed accordingly. Every hour after that is $150.00 on top of the first hour plus parts & materials used or which may need to be ordered. any hour will be rounded to the nearest hour up or down for final billing.
We charge the diagnosis fee once per service only, unless we are called back for a new issue or you live outside of our service area.

There is a $150 minimum flat rate & up if we need to return to make your repair or install your new components.. Most repairs are completed in 1 to 3 hours plus parts.
Some Jobs such as openings, closings, cleaning, custom jobs etc my require you to sign an estimate and provide a deposit. In which case you will be given a flat price. Pump replacement, heater replacement etc are very easy to give you an exact price based on what we see onsite. If there are difficulties which are unforeseen of course the price could fluctuate.
If Aquatic Tech winterizes your pool or hot tub, Aquatic tech does not assume any liability if your hot tub or pool leaks or cracks during the winter season. Hot tubs and pools are meant to run with water and or heat year round and the plumbing is mostly PVC / plastic and other fragile materials which can crack in cold temperatures even without water in them. Aquatic tech takes all measures to rid your hot tub of water such as adding RV antifreeze to the major lines but there are hundreds of lines which do not get anti freeze in them. In addition you are responsible to tarp and cover your hot tub and or add a heat source to the cabinet if need be.
Some repair services are performed on the spot if we have your needed parts on our service vehicle. Before any job is performed a verbal or written estimate will be provided Once your service moves out of the diagnosis stage which you will need to agree to. It is common practice for you to have to sign a service agreement Before your service begins and before a repair is performed. In this case we are satisfied with you having this information at your disposal. If you feel the need to sign it then please do and provide us with a copy if you see fit.. If we need to order parts, all parts are paid for 100% in advance and we will then call you to schedule your services after we have your parts in our possession. All estimates and repair quotes are based upon our hourly rate and the ease or difficulty of your repair (s) no special order parts or performed labor will or can be returned or refunded. Any defective parts will not be Reinstalled unless you purchase a new one or your parts manufacturer has authorized the monies or parts for a new one. We are not a manufacturer or distributor of parts nor are we a store or store front. We do not accept returns or offer refunds unless agreed to. Many electronic parts offer no warranty at all after being installed per the distributor. If you want an extended warranty we do offer this option in most cases . Our distributors changed the electronics warranty due to the general public buying and installing parts whom are not qualified to do so.
We please ask all customers to let our techs do their job when they arrive. Please have all kids and pets secured and preferably in the house. We will ask you to meet us outside to discuss your hot tubs issues and then our tech will reach out to you upon completion or with an estimate. Interruptions and unnecessary conversation can be distracting and will cause your service to take longer. We charge for all time onsite and our goal is to be as cost efficient as possible.
* Defective parts ( not electronics) . The way returns work is that we need to request an RMA from the distributor who then needs to request one from the manufacturer. All parts carry a limited warranty for manufacturer defect. Usually 1 year. Labor is not covered because neither party will pay us for our time. Unless you purchase an extended service contract. If you want a replacement fast you'll need to buy a new one and wait to get your replacement. A money refund will not be provided.. You will then have an extra one or you can wait for the replacement. If Aquatic Technologies Inc happens to have a replacement you can purchase it from us. The distributor nor the manufacturer will reimburse you for labor but they will give you another item your willing to wait up to 30 days. Also the shipping costs back and forth are the Customer's unless the distributor agrees to pay for the cost. The RMA process can take 30 days or more. It is highly recommended to purchase a labor warranty service agreement from Aquatic Technologies Inc. Ask for details.
*Plumbing warranties are 90 days from the date of repair.

With the internet being what it is some customers will take our findings, order the parts and repair or try to repair it themselves to save money and let's face it we can't do that all day or we couldn't even stay in business so therefore you are paying for our knowledge, Service, experience and skills and our professionalism, fuel, drive time, workers comp insurance, tools, liability insurance and all of the things that make us a business so that we can continue to provide our customers and you with a 5☆ service for many years to come.
All info here applies to any service we may provide unless we gave you a different quote or estimate in writing which you signed & agreed to.
We do not install used parts you may have or any other parts which we do not provide.
All customers whose homes we must enter for any reason must be home at the time of service.
If we come out to your home you will be charged the diagnosis service call fee even if your hot tub, pool, jetted bath or sauna are not accessible. It is your responsibility to let us know if your situation is less than easily accessible, indoors, a leak, a repair, or whatever problem your hot tub, pool, suns, jetted bath may be having. When we book your appointment we ask basic questions to help us figure out how long we may be at your house scheduling purposes. If you have a hot tub with with the panels or sides are not removable outside of the main equipment panel and you have a leak, if the leak is not inside the main equipment panel we will not look any further and your still responsible to pay us for our time wether we find a leak or not. (you tell us when to stop until we find your leaks) We do not cut open hot tub panels Which are not meant to come off unless you sign a waiver of liability because your cabinet will never look the same.
If your hot tub is built into a deck, has obstructions in the way of the equipment panel or difficult to service for any reason, you may be asked to provide better access before we will service your hot tub. We accept cash, credit or debit cards, or Venmo payments. All monies must be paid onsite unless otherwise agreed to.. All parts installed on site or Any special order parts must be paid 100% upfront before the order is placed. all cards and or Venmo will be charged back any fees charged to us by any of these entities.
☆ if Aquatic Technologies Inc agrees to install parts we did not provide for
another hot tub dealer or manufacturer or if you bought them online and hired us after the fact, we are not liable for the operations of your hot tub after the fact if we did not diagnose it. due to not being the dealer or manufacturer of the part (s) if they are defective or inoperable you will need to go back the parts provider but you are still responsible to pay for our labor.. we are always C.O.D. and your parts / warranty provider will reimburse you.. In most cases we do not install parts that we do not supply. If Aquatic Technologies Inc provides the part (s) , generally we follow the manufacturer limited warranty offer unless you paid for an extended warranty. ( ask for details ) if a manufacturers parts are defective, labor is not included with the part mainly because we cone to your location and that cost time, money fuel employee compensation etc. You can purchase a labor warranty with your parts.. ( ask for details ).

which covers the majority of our service areas, however some areas which are very rural or off the beaten path will call for an additional fee for the initial service call which always covers the diagnosis of your hot tub issue and an estimate for repair. Whenever possible we will have your parts on our truck and make the repair the same day. We then bill at $150 per hour. Any job involving 2 men or more on your job if necessary will be a $300 minimum for under the deck, or any difficult job. If your breaker with the GFCI is indoors and not near your tub or pool we may need two men for example.
☆ Please understand like any other appliance or machine that has not run properly for a period of time that when repairing one component other issues can evolve and or show up that were there already but could not be discovered without the hot tub or pool running such as flow issues, pump issues, leaks, chewed wires, breaker issues, controller issues, electronics malfunctions and more. We take your service seriously and will keep you in the loop as things evolve. We can only diagnosis what we see at any given time.

Should Aquatic Technologies Inc. Approve a return otherwise there will be a 40% restocking fee. Should any part fail and we do not have one in stock a new one will need to be ordered immediately by you or the wait for a new replacement could be 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Labor is not warrantied by any manufacturer and you will be expected to pay a minimum fee for removal and replacement of any new part based on your hot tub.
