Christian Denominations Practicing Immersion:

• Baptists: Insist on full immersion for believer's baptism, symbolizing Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.
• Anabaptists: (Mennonites, Amish) Emphasize believers' baptism by immersion as a conscious choice.
• Pentecostals: Typically baptize by immersion, symbolizing spiritual cleansing and filling.
• Jehovah's Witnesses: Practice full immersion as a dedication to God.
• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS): Baptize by lowering someone under water, symbolizing new life.
• Community of Christ: Also practice baptism by submersion.
• Eastern Orthodox & Oriental Orthodox: View baptism as a fundamental sacrament, emphasizing full immersion.
• Seventh-day Adventists: Often use full immersion. 

Other Religions:

• Judaism: Practices ritual immersion (Tevilah) in a mikveh for converts and purification, but this is distinct from Christian baptism.
