Many of our customers ask the same questions. Hopefully these answers will help you understand  your pool a little more.

• Q: What chemicals do I need in my pool to open it?
• A: All pools require shock & algeacide when opening,  yes, even salt water pools.

• Q: How often should I clean my pool 
• A: You should clean and or back wash your filter a minimum of once per week or whenever it needs it. Not all filters require back washing.

• Q: Why is my pool so cloudy
• A: Cloudy water is attributed to one or many things . Generally an unbalanced pool,  Depleted water,  high PH Or sometimes just a heavy rain can cause cloudy water.
• Q: How do I clear my water up if it's cloudy 
• A: test and balance your water making sure yiur PH is perfect along with the rest of your chemicals.  Also make sure your filter is clean.  If it's sand and you haven't changed the sand this year, you'll want to change the sand . If it's A D.E. filter your going to want to take your filter canister apart and clean your filter, then recharge your Filter with DE powder.  If it's a cartridge filter then you will want to clean or swap out your cartridge filter.  Add some water clarifier to your pool and let it run until it clears up following all of the instructions for all if your pool chemicals individually.  If all else fails change your pool water  
• Q: How often should I change my pools water?
• A: no more than every ten years or less. 
• Which brand of pool chemicals are best?
• Q: Most pool chemicals seem to be good. Don't be fooled by name brands but we have great success with Clorox brand pool chemicals.
